presentation; deck; pitch; powerpoint; keynote; proposal…

whatever you want to call it, I know how to make it look good.

In commercial real estate there’s lots of pitching going on everywhere all the time. Firms are trying to win leasing and management assignments, brokers are pitching capital improvement ideas to building ownership, the list goes on and on. It’s really hard to present my work without some sort of disclaimer, so all I’ll say about some of these is that I recognize there is way too much text for an on-screen presentation… I did what I could.

I think the best way to showcase these presentations will be with a selection of slides. If you’re interested in seeing the rest of these presentations, I can send a PDF on request.

External Communication

Pretty self-explanatory… these are presentations that members of my organization gave to outside groups like high school students or lunch and learn attendees.

In the campus admissions office, there were rotating slide shows, presentations for campus tours, presentations at parent events, presentations for decision makers, presentations for new student orientation… any event you can think of, there was a presentation for it.

I was always really proud of my presentations in this job. I was learning a lot about information hierarchy, how much text is too much text (it’s ALWAYS too much text), and the best ways to present different types of data, and I was really trying to modernize the look and feel of these presentations, too. Before I got there? SNOOZE!!!
