I’ve dreamed of opening a food truck that sells all kinds of gourmet corn dogs and calling it Zorn Dogs ✻ Some sports I have enjoyed participating in: soccer, basketball, skiing, flag football, swimming, ultimate frisbee, seed spitting ✻ Some sports I wish I played: softball ✻ I lived in my sorority house for 2 years (that’s 92 roommates!) ✻ I spent a summer working at Publix cutting fruit all day… tourists go through a LOT of pre-cut fruit, but I can now cut a watermelon or pineapple in almost record time ✻ Some classes I took in college that I actually still reference or remember to this day: Media Law, Public Relations Writing, Intro to Videography & Editing, Psychology, World Lit I, Ad Principles, Research Methods ✻ I worked as a barista under a certified Tea Master at a tea shop with dozens of custom blends - I loved having knowledge of tea I could pass on to people when they visited ✻ I worked as a Technical Expert and Genius Admin at an Apple Store (during the first year of the pandemic, no less). My customer service skills are now pretty damn good, and I got really good at explaining technical issues to non-technical people, even in high-stress situations ✻ I wrote and successfully defended a thesis on the use of religious imagery in print advertisement… to be honest, it wasn’t a great topic choice and there was hardly any data, but I wrote and defended well enough to pass so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ✻ I grew up in an area without any pro sports, so I was born and raised as an Arkansas Razorbacks fan. To this day, I am an avid college football fan. I’m trying to get into the NFL more (and have done fairly well in my fantasy league the past two years), but damn, Denver and Chicago are hard teams to root for when you’re trying to learn to like the NFL ✻ I spent dozens of hours in an FPV drone simulator but never got to the point of building and flying my own ✻ I was the yearbook editor in high school ✻ I currently live with my two cats. Kiki is 5 years old and such a princess. Dracula is still a kitten and as of right now she’s living up to her name ✻ While working for U of A admissions, I shot, directed, and edited a series of videos of the orientation mentors for social media ✻ I founded and ran an online media publication called HVNLY ✻ I worked at a summer camp in Arkansas. I taught several activities including archery, canoeing + knot tying, nature, hodge podge, and bumper boats ✻ I was the prom queen ✻ One year for Christmas I asked for a set of pots and pans AND a set of power tools ✻ I have used those power tools for all kinds of DIY projects in my apartment including cutting and installing custom closet shelving, building a sofa table with built-in outlets and hanging art ✻ I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the U of A Honors College ✻ I spent a summer in England where I did volunteer work for 8 weeks and a study abroad program for 3 weeks. In my study abroad, we studied the evolution of free speech and spent time at Cambridge and Oxford ✻ I won a state championship in high school soccer ✻ I play acoustic guitar ✻ I spent 10 weeks in a DBT program…this stuff should be required learning in high school and college for real ✻ I looooove to build IKEA furniture ✻
